Private Commission
Legally, we can't tell you what we're up to now, but we'll be back with more amazing work in 2012. We're currently inspired by The Secret Miracle and Letters to a Young Poet.
We're still open for all design services and event logistics, though. Let us know what you need!
Electric Eden
Part historical reconstruction, part wild imagination, Electric Eden tells the story of Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla, and George Westinghouse, three men whose intelligence and dedication to their work set them up to compete against nature, failing finances, and each other. Though they brought the world into light, they never made it out of the dark themselves.
Workshop premier was August of 2011 at 440 Studios. Norwood hosted the opening and initial run in November of 2011.
Rise Like Lions
A devised work about the failure of idealism in a world too serious for dreams. Rise Like Lions used stage magic, dangerous choreography and 360 degree staging to create a truly experiential work.
Workshop premier was April 27 -30, 2011 at The Robert Moss Theater at 440 Studios. The piece is currently slated for a 2012 Premier in Edinburgh.
Someone is Living in This House
Having lost everyone and everything, the last man on earth turns to creating fantasies with his typewriter to pass the time. The typewriter, however, has vastly different plans, bringing his wildest dreams to life as he is brought closer to finding another human in an immersive site-specific spectacle at the Connelly Theatre.
Someone is Living in This House premiered in November of 2010 at The Connelly Theatre in New York. It has been stripped for parts and continues to influence our work today.
Spotting Love
An adaptation of the hearbreaking true story written by Jon-Marc McDonald, Spotting Love displayed the heartbreak of dealing with a loved one suffering from HIV, told with a Spalding Gray meets David Copperfield aesthetic.
Spotting Love premiered as part of NYU's 2010 Creating Original Work season and is currently being adapted into a screenplay.
